THE CARS CAME HOME
Twenty years of Real Rides deserved a pretty special celebration.
On Sunday, 6 September, more than 300 people and over 40 cars came to the workshop for a huge 20th anniversary reunion.
Cars that had been built, painted, modified and worked on by Real Rides over the past two decades came back together in one place — some dating back 15 or 16 years, alongside some of our most recent builds.
It was pretty special seeing them all together.
At around 11:15am, the final car pulled into car park. That was the moment the 20-year anniversary really felt like it clicked. It was so great to see so many of the great cars we have done so much work on, all in one place.
AND IT WASN'T JUST ABOUT THE CARS
Customers travelled from Tauranga, Cambridge and Arrowtown to be part of the day, while friends, family and the Real Rides team helped make everything happen.
There was live music, Big D BBQ, Lisa-Jane Coffee, Grow & Brew, goody bags with premium Real Rides detailing kit and Joe's Garage vouchers, 3M giveaways plus plenty of car talk and a whole lot of catching up.
Most people stayed for the afternoon, enjoying the cars, the workshop and the atmosphere.
