The transporter is booked in for Friday morning, which means we have only two days left to finish as much as we can on Damien’s 68 Charger before the Kumeu Classic Car & Hot Rod Festival.
We’ve finished installing all the glass, and a cut and polish is well underway. The 2-piece driveshaft and hoops are in, and most of the running gear wiring has been rerouted and hidden inside the car. The side trims and quarter windows have all been reassembled and fitted to the car, the bumpers and valance have been painted, and the dash fascia is finished and waiting to be installed.
One last push tomorrow – we still have 3 different colours to paint!
