We add the finishing touches to Damien’s Gen 3 Superbee powered 68 Charger before delivering it to Beach Hop.
With just one day left before the Kumeu Classic Car & Hot Rod Festival, we make a mad dash to get as much as we can completed on Damien’s 68 Charger.

We’re very quickly running out of time on Damien’s 68 Charger build. Today saw all the glass reinstalled, plus a start on the driveshaft and running gear.
Well, the old girl is rolling! Today sees yet another day of painting, plus some mechanical and interior work.
Day 9 saw Damien’s bad boy 68 Charger get its final coat of colour and 5 coats of clear.
Day 8 of Damien’s 68 Impala paint job sees the first two coats of base colour applied.
After painting several booth loads of parts, the guys are hard at work masking the body of Damien’s 68 Charger for paint.
After much sanding, blocking, and sanding again, Day 5 of the 68 Charger project sees the first bit of colour applied to the car.
Day 2 of preparing Damien’s 68 Charger for Kumeu saw modifications to the center console, as well as a bit of booth time.
