We had a great weekend racing in NaZCAR’s 24 Hours of Lemons event. The goal of this annual 3-day, 24-hour endurance race is to purchase a crappy car for $999 or less, come up with a theme, bung in some safety gear, and make it last around the Hampton Downs racetrack.
We managed to finish the race, completing 470 laps and spending $1900 in fuel, and took home the prize for best presented car.
