We had a few minor setbacks with fitment today, but we are back on track now!
The QA1 front end has been installed, and the 14″ Wilwood front brakes are all in and aligned. The rear end is back together and in, and the engine (a fully rebuilt LS1 from Prescott Engines) and trans (4L60 4-speed trans from Kaspa Silverdale) have been bolted in. We will make a start on the rear coil overs tomorrow, as a couple of mods are required for those.
Rust repairs have been completed on the cab, and the extra holes in the firewall have been filled in. The front tray panel has been repaired, and the bodywork guys are now working through fairing on the panels.
Tomorrow we will see the first bit of colour applied. More details to be revealed – stay tuned!
