Day six of our 1963 Impala build. Despite being a Saturday, we’ve got a full crew working in the shop today.
Today was another busy one for our poor spraypainter. The trunk and front guards were painted, the inner guards texture-coated, and another two booth loads of small miscellaneous parts were painted grey.
Assembly also began today. The front screen was taken out and refitted (unplanned, but at least it’s done now!) We also installed Mongoose Q-Mat sound deadener, got the rear seat belt mounts done, the rear parcel shelf fabricated and fitted, and trunk hinges and springs installed.
Keep an eye on our blog or head on over to our Facebook page to follow along with this crazy project!
