Tomorrow is the Kumeu Classic Car & Hot Rod Festival, one of New Zealand’s biggest car events. This year we will be unveiling the finished product of our 1963 SS Impala build at the show. Turning this pile of parts into a car in less than two weeks hasn’t been easy. There’s been a lot of early starts and late nights. We really couldn’t have done this without our amazing team. Special thanks to Jason over at Prescott Engines for the engine build, as well as the boys over at NZ Hydrographics for the carbon fibre work.
We’ve spent the morning putting the finishing touches on the Impala. The hood has been refitted, as well as the bumpers, badges, and final bits of trim. The last thing to do was give the car a good ol’ wash, then get it out to Kumeu.
The afternoon was spent setting up our tent at the show. This year we wanted to show off some of our more recent works. Pretty much all of the cars on display have been completed in the last twelve months. Keep an eye on our Facebook to see some pictures from the show, or come and visit us in person!
