This week has marked a tremendous milestone for Seth’s C10 resto-mod project, as it finally hits the streets! After many hours of blood, sweat and tears, the hard work has finally paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of this outstanding build.
But, let’s not forget how it all started. For those who missed it, this build was executed in record time. This was no small feat, with the team working hard to build the bulk of this C10 in just 10 days. That’s right; 10 days!
After stripping and blasting the truck back to bare metal just before Christmas, we accomplished most of this build in less than two weeks between coming back from the break and the Kumeu Classic Car & Hot Rod Festival. You can go back and read about our daily progress here.
While we didn’t quite get it finished in time for the Show due to delays in parts arriving from overseas, the work in progress was received with great excitement and garnered plenty of attention.
While this may look like a classic from the outside, inside it has all the mod cons, including central locking, push button start, a brand new entertainment center with Android Auto and reversing camera… the list goes on. Given the sleek and stylish design, it’s no surprise that this vehicle attracts a lot of attention wherever it goes. It’s a true head-turner. But, what’s even more impressive is the performance. The fully rebuilt LS1 by Prescott Engines and brand new suspension makes this one smooth daily driver.
There has been an incredible amount of hard work and dedication poured into this project by our team, and the results speak for themselves. After finishing the build, Seth has decided to put the vehicle up for sale to make room for new projects. We’re excited to see what he lets us do next!
