Another solid day of work from the team today!
We got the chassis on the rotisserie early this morning in order to have it painted, baked, and back on the hoist by mid-afternoon. In the meantime we had brakes, front spindles and suspension being assembled.
The cab had two lads on solid rust repair today, another day should see that go into epoxy primer. The doors and panels that were epoxy primed yesterday had their fairing done today, and the tray floor was stripped out in anticipation for the new timber deck going down (if it arrives in time).
Oh – we also finalised the main colour today, it’s a classic GM code that will look perfect with this build. With the chassis back on the hoist and QA1 front suspension starting to be installed, we should have some good visual progress tomorrow.
