Real Rides is a muscle car restoration workshop in Auckland, New Zealand. We specialise in the restoration of 50s-70s American and Australian muscle cars and restomods.

A few pics of our set up at the Orewa Beach Festival. We are all setup and ready for a hot day, luckily we are right by the beer tent!

NZ car show season is kicked off annually by the Kumeu Car Show. Thanks to everyone who brought in their cars to show off in our display, it was a great weekend!

Today was spent putting the finishing touches on the Impala. The hood has been refitted, as well as the bumpers, badges, and final bits of trim.

It’s day 11 of our 12 day Impala build. We got the engine in, the taillight section done, carbon fibre trims on, and the ride height lowered.

As we get closer to being completed more and more custom touches are becoming visible. The interior glass, headliner, and trims have now all been fitted.

Day 9 has proved to be exciting stuff. Our new wheels and tyres have been installed, and the Impala is finally starting to look a car again!

It’s day 8, and assembly has begun in earnest. Both doors, the trunk, and the rear screen have been fitted, and the car is really taking shape.
Sunday, day 7 of our 63 Impala build, today was a much needed day of rest.

Day six of our 1963 Impala build. Despite being a Saturday, we’ve got a full crew working in the shop today, getting started on assembly.

It’s day five, and finally we’re seeing some progress! The paint booth has been in full swing to day, with all the prepwork finally completed.
